Electric Power System Specialist

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journey Line Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining electric power systems, restoring service to customers, and performing routine maintenance tasks. Main Responsibilities: • Build and maintain electric power systems • Restore service to customers • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as pole inspection, line patrols, and equipment installation • Operate a variety of equipment including bucket trucks, diggers, and hydraulic jacks • Work at heights above 35 feet and in confined spaces • Use hand and power tools to perform tasks such as digging holes, climbing ladders, and setting grounds Requirements: • Completion of a federal or state sanctioned line worker apprenticeship with approved supporting documentation • Valid Class A driving permit • Pass a DMV medical exam • At least 18 years old • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience • At least two years' experience as a Lineman 1st Class - Hot Stick • Ability to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays • Able to lift and carry up to pounds • Ability to work in all types of weather and road conditions • Effective team player with strong communication skills Benefits: • Overtime opportunities • Paid vacation time • Paid time off to perform volunteer work • Healthy living wellness program • Employee assistance program • Active employee business resource groups About Us: We value our employees and offer a competitive compensation package, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career development.
