The position is located south of Marion, Illinois, near Lake of Egypt. Salary Range: $85k to $115k Position Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field. • Previous experience with electrical utilities. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Knowledge of renewable energy, distributed energy resources, electric vehicles, battery energy storage systems, and the evolving industry is desirable. • Ability to engage in NERC operations and planning compliance activities. • Willingness to attend continuing education courses, complete certifications, and participate in meetings and training sessions, both online and out-of-town, as needed. Duties and Responsibilities: • Lead the design, development, and implementation of member programs, including electric vehicles, time-of-use, interruptible loads, distributed energy resources, and demand side management. • Assist with wholesale electric utility billing and related settlements. • Configure and maintain the MV-90 meter data management system. • Assist with cost-of-service studies, load forecasting, electric system planning, and operations. • Provide SCADA system support.
