Senior Electrical Engineer

Primary Job Responsibilities:Expert in designing and constructing heavy industrial electrical and controls systems.Lead technical design initiatives and provide guidance.Make independent decisions with minimal supervision.Oversee electrical and controls design across multiple projects.Independently create engineering drawings and documentation.Develop innovative solutions for complex technical challenges.Conduct design calculations and utilize CAD tools.Lead project meetings and serve as the E/C team leader.Collaborate on large, multi-disciplinary projects.Excel in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.Perform on-site field work and construction observations.Track project budgets and schedules.Mentor and guide junior engineers.Travel occasionally within the Kentucky/Tennessee/Illinois/Missouri region.Prepare proposals, material take-offs, and construction estimates.Requirements:4-7 years of experience required.A 4-year BSEE degree with an ABET-accredited university is preferred.Possess or be on track to obtain a Kentucky Professional Engineer license within 6 months.Medium voltage experience is a plus.Knowledge of Computer Aided Design software (i.e., AutoCAD).Strong computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.).Ability to work well with other engineers/designers.Ability to work on job sites gathering information.
