Amteck is currently looking to hire Licensed Electricians for our service team in Dyersburg, TN. The worksite for this position will be in Sikeston, MO. Electrical/Mechanical Technician

Would you like to be part of a team of manufacturing employees? Then we would like you to apply for the opening as an Electrical/Mechanical Technician at Tetra Pak. Be part of the team that produces quality products for a multitude of customers. Main Responsibilities • Ability to perform changeovers on presses including all die work • Perform general maintenance on all production equipment including presses, sealer, scrap system and air system • Ability to adjust major pieces of production equipment to remedy nonconforming items as deemed necessary by the QC department or shift supervisor • Perform the modification of major pieces of production equipment to improve quality, increase safety or decrease downtime as deemed necessary by Management • Perform preventative and general maintenance checks on production equipment • Performance of weekly compressor checks • Perform all duties in a safe manner Job Summary You will be working on equipment maintenance including breakdown maintenance. Ensure proper equipment work during the shift and correct anomalies in case of breakdown. Perform preventive and corrective activities at equipent according to maintenance plans under the supervision of Maintenance Engineer. Qualifications To be successful in this role you need to be a true team-player, driven by delivering a high level of service. You are thorough, possess a high level of integrity and constantly aim for improvements. Previous experience with a manufacturing facility is highly beneficial What you will do • Follow production safety rules. Work according to existing Procedures/ Standards • Receive and sort Spare Parts, Consumables/ Supplies as per SOP and 5S standards • Participate in regular Preventive Maintenance • Maintain MDM request. Base on Requests update Equipment tree in SAP • Works according to existing procedures/ Standards and Maintenance process • Attend to breakdowns onsite ensuring a rapid response and that plant equipment and machine breakdown time is minimised • Participate as a member in Maintenance Improvement teams We believe you have • Fresh Technical formation or Diploma in Engineering/ Maintenance or 2-3 years’ experience in Maintenance/Spare Parts. • SAP basic knowledge WCM skills for breakdown/ Anomaly analysis • Expereince and skills in identifying Root Cause and develop countermeasures to address Machine technical knowledge • Production processe knowledge is preferred Miscellaneous All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
