Position Description Title: Electrical Maintenance II Department: Maintenance Immediate Supervisor: Maintenance Process Lead Status: Non-exempt Position Purpose A Mechanical Maintenance will have demonstrated work and leadership characteristics required to achieve success in a multi-faceted manufacturing environment. The position demands an individual capable of working on technical/operational projects that involve a broad range of equipment, materials, and procedural issues specific to a manufacturing environment. Principle Accountabilities • Participate and/or support as a resource to the Intertape Performance System (IPS) Safety Teams. Participate in safety audits such as the STOP program. • Ensure safe work practices and procedures are followed. Identify unsafe conditions and take corrective action on those within your control. Report all others immediately to site management. Suggest ideas for safety related improvements to the process or procedures. • Complete all required safety training timely. • Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following electrical diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions. • Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments. • Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts. • Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts, using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments. • Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, etc. • Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine equipment process care maintenance techniques. • Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment. • Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt. • Provides mechanical/electrical maintenance information by answering questions and requests. • Prepares mechanical/electrical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. • Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing technical publications. • Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. • Function as Maintenance Champion of a Work Center/Piece of Equipment, which includes maintenance planning with operators. • Perform other duties as may be assigned. Essential Skills and Experience • Two-year Technical degree in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical sciences and 1-3 years of industrial experience (preferred), or high school diploma and 5 years of industrial experience. • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Also, must be able to climb ladders and perform work at heights above floor level. • Skills in the areas of pneumatic, hydraulic and drive systems are needed. • Experience with troubleshooting and repairing AC/DC drives, PLC's and industrial controls is a must. • Experience with Allen Bradley controls a plus. • Good communication skills, project scheduling and small team leadership abilities. • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Site Superintendent- Journeyman Electrician

Summary of position The role of the Site Superintendent is to work in tandem with the Construction Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager of Construction to provide consistent, high-quality, cost-effective, and timely analysis of projects. This role requires excellent attendance, a willingness to travel, the ability to work within budgets, and potentially in inclement weather. This role will work in conjunction with the Construction Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager of Construction, Operations Team, subcontractors, and the Director of Technical Operations to develop accurate and efficient project management and analysis. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Maintain and meet construction schedule deadlines that comply with customer requirements. • Help the Pre-Construction team develop an initial construction schedule, bill of materials, and site-specific manuals. • Coordinate with Subcontractors throughout the construction of the project to ensure deadlines are being met. • Lead day-to-day operations for the entire site, including morning safety talks and the distribution of job assignments. • Tracking KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to ensure we stay aligned with our Construction schedule. • Submit all necessary paperwork for customer-related discussions, including daily and weekly site reports. • Identify process improvement strategies to support business growth.
