JOB SUMMARY The Electrician is responsible for assisting in installing, repairing and replacing electrical equipment, appliances and circuits in and about the Medical Center and off-site facilities. The Electrician will utilize blueprints, schematics, diagrams, hand and power tools in addition to testing instruments to diagnose and repair electrical problems. JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS Type: Full-time, 80 hours per 2 week pay period Typical hours: Day shift Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required Certification & Licensures: N/A Experience: One (1) to three (3) years job related experience or Trade School graduate. Electrical Superintendent

The Opportunity: The Electrical Superintendent is part of Great Lakes’ Plant and Equipment Department reporting to the Electrical Systems Manager. For this position the candidate can either work from home, our corporate office in Houston or from any of our regional offices and will require approximately 50% travel. The position offers challenge, variety and the opportunity to be involved in a broad range of activities supporting the electrical needs of our fleet and operations across multiple project sites. The electrical superintendent provides overall management of maintenance and repair of the electrical systems of his assigned vessels, maintaining the electrical systems in a safe, reliable and cost-effective manner. This position requires a high level of collaboration across the company’s engineering, crew, operation and purchasing departments. Responsibilities: Responsibilities encompass everything from new build documentation to onsite field support. The essential elements of the position include, but are not limited to: • Act as first line support for the vessel crew for troubleshooting and repairs of electrical systems. • Coordinate third party repairs and off vessel repairs & maintenance. • Coordinate preventive maintenance for his assigned vessels. • Coordinate regulatory inspections of electrical systems and ensure all certificates are up to date. • Maintain “fleet-level” spare parts inventory. • Work with vessel teams and engineering departments toward continuous improvement of vessel upkeep and performance. • Attend vessel repair periods and provide assistance to the Dry-dock manager. • Travels to project locations around the USA and globally to work on assignments as assigned by the Electrical Systems Manager. • Performs on-call work during off-hours as necessary. • Follows safe and compliant working procedures. Requirements: • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant experience • At least 5 years of experience in electrical construction in a supervisory role. • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations. • Proven track record of managing large scale projects. • Excellent leadership and communication skills. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents. • Proficiency in project management software. • Commitment to safety and quality.
