As we expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled Controls and Electrical Panel Technician to join our team in Carson City, Nevada. Job Summary: The CHP/Cogeneration Controls and Electrical Panel Technician will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and troubleshooting control panels and electrical systems for our CHP/Cogeneration units. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in communication and controls wiring, the ability to read and interpret Bill of Materials (BOM), wire lists, and schematic drawings, and experience working with industrial electrical panels. Key Responsibilities: • Assemble and wire control panels and electrical enclosures for CHP/cogeneration systems. • Perform point-to-point wiring of control and power circuits based on schematics and wiring diagrams. • Read and interpret electrical schematics, BOMs, wire lists, and panel layouts to ensure proper wiring configurations. • Conduct testing and troubleshooting of control systems, PLCs, relays, and instrumentation to ensure proper functionality. • Assist in installation, commissioning, and field troubleshooting as needed. • Ensure compliance with industry standards, company procedures, and electrical codes (NEC, UL508A, etc.). • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve panel designs and wiring processes. • Maintain accurate documentation of wiring modifications, test results, and quality control checks. • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
