Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dedicated 2-4 year Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical trade while working under the guidance of experienced electricians. The Apprentice Electrician will assist and perform in various electrical tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in both industrial and commercial settings. Duties • Assist in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems according to the National Electrical Code (NEC) • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various electrical tasks • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to understand project requirements • Support experienced electricians in troubleshooting electrical issues and performing repairs • Engage in low voltage and high voltage electrical work as required • Participate in construction site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols • Gain experience with ohmmeters and other testing equipment to assess electrical systems • Ability to drive to the jobsite when needed Qualifications • Previous experience as an industrial or commercial apprentice electrician is preferred • Must have hand tools, power tools, and be familiar with basic electrical equipment • Understanding of low voltage and high voltage systems is a plus • Basic knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) is advantageous • Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively • Experience in construction site environments is beneficial • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety practices • Willingness to learn and grow within the electrical trade Join our team as an Apprentice Electrician, where you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment while contributing to exciting projects.
