Statewide travel in support of the Las Vegas Buildings and Grounds operations is required. Electricians perform skilled electrical work to troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment. Incumbent must possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform advanced level work and may provide work direction and training to others. Electricians apply logical and systematic problem-solving skills when responding to Work Orders, performing and/or implementing Preventive Maintenance work, and estimating cost of repairs and new construction. Incumbent must be able to read, correct, and maintain blueprints. The incumbent must have and maintain a valid Driver's License. This position requires a flexible work schedule to meet the needs of the department; for emergency situations (stand-by status); projects as they arise, and call backs. The incumbent must pass a criminal history check, which they are responsible to pay for, in qualifying to fill this position. The incumbent must be able to work with and supervise inmates. Electrical Designer

RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce's Sustainable Energy Client based in Sparks, NV is currently seeking an Electrical Designer to join our Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) team. These roles are at the center of our activities focused on creating a sustainable circular economy for lithium-ion batteries by transforming recycled materials into battery materials for new lithium-ion battery production. Responsibilities: • Work independently as well as collaboratively with others toward design and technical solutions • Assist in developing solutions for projects in all phases; Perform I&C assignments with general direction and minimal supervision • Work independently as well as collaboratively with others toward design and technical solutions • Assist in developing solutions for projects in all phases Using Revit, assist in the production of construction drawings for Instrumentation and Controls discipline including but not limited to: • Plan drawings showing locations of instruments, and control panels • Raceway drawings to show conduit and cable tray sizing and routing • Assist in production of construction drawings for low voltage (up to 600V) power distribution, one-line diagrams lighting, lighting control, electrical circuits, raceway, grounding, data and communications • Assist in performing photometric studies using lighting design software • Drives multi-discipline collaboration on the development of equipment general arrangements, one-line diagrams, tie-in lists and material takeoffs • Develop process improvements/workflows/templates to increase design productivity • Assist in code analysis of NEC, IECC, and other applicable NFPA standards • Learn, advance, and increase quality through construction observation/administration REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience • Minimum of 4 years of experience • Working knowledge of SKM or equivalent tool • Working knowledge of UL508A standard for the design and construction of industrial control panels • Advanced proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office • Highly motivated and proactive • Well-organized and detailed oriented • Excellent team communication skills The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.
