Automobile Electrical Wiring Technician

We are currently seeking an automobile electrical Wiring Technician! You will strive to provide installation and removals of Interlock Ignition Device (IID) for a variety of vehicles. Responsibilities: • Install, Remove, Transfer, and calibrate IID's • Remove Paneling to access dash and under hood wiring • Troubleshoot and calibrate devices prior to handing over to customer • Perform routine calibrations on devices using in house calibrations stations. • Adhere to all quality and safety codes • Clean and Maintain Shop • Assist with developing Standard Operating Procedures • Manage Inventory / Equipment Ordering • Headlamp Restoration • Remote Services (in-town) - bypasses and removals - less than 10% of time. ​​Qualifications: • Previous experience in vehicle electrical wiring/engineering or other related fields (i.e. alarm systems, stereo systems, etc)- 12Volt • Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals • Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour Benefits: • Flexible schedule Experience: • wiring 12V: 2 years (Required) Shift availability: • Day Shift (Preferred) • Night Shift (Preferred) Ability to Commute: • Roseville, CA 95678 (Required) Ability to Relocate: • Roseville, CA 95678: Relocate before starting work (Required) Willingness to travel: • 25% (Preferred) Work Location: In person

What You’ll Do: Promote Safety. Take an active role in prioritizing safety throughout the operation for yourself and others at all times in accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards. Repair and Maintain Electronic Equipment. Service, repair, calibrate, regulate, fine-tune, and test machines, devices, electrical systems, conductors, and associated equipment at aggregate, asphalt, ready-mix concrete, ship, and rail unloading systems. Troubleshoot and Diagnose Equipment. Detect and diagnose all electrical wiring, appliance, fixture, and machinery problems, failing components, and malfunctions while making corrections and striving to improve equipment reliability. Inspect Equipment, Structures, and Material. Complete scheduled checks of all electrical equipment and systems in order to detect any malfunctions and unsafe conditions throughout the plant. Interpret Blueprints, Schematics, and other Documentation. Work with blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine safe and effective installation procedures. Additional Responsibilities. Other duties as assigned. Skills You’ll Need: Experience. Previous experience in construction or industrial electrical work is preferred. Knowledge of Best Practices. Must demonstrate a strong knowledge of electrical codes and electrical theory. Motor control is preferred (NEC, NESC, & MSHA). Flexibility. Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions and tolerate being exposed to loud noises. Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours depending on customer and company demands. Mechanical Skills. Must have some knowledge of electrical tools, their uses, and maintenance.
