Key Responsibilities: • Lead Projects: Manage installations and repairs at commercial and industrial sites, including lighting, power systems, and more. • Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in commercial facilities. • Conduit & Wiring: Install, bend, and run conduit; assist with wiring Tenant Improvements (TIs) when necessary. • Parts & Equipment Management: Plan and order materials and equipment for projects. • Customer Relations: Be professional, presentable, and communicate effectively with clients, staff, and office personnel. • Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate service records, including timekeeping and materials management. • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, carry, and work with materials up to 50 lbs., and operate necessary equipment safely. Working closely with engineers, architects, and project managers, the electrical detailer is responsible for creating detailed drawings and schematics that precisely outline the specifications for electrical systems within a building or facility. This role involves translating design concepts into technical plans, incorporating electrical components, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Key Responsibilities and Essential Tasks : • Review and interpret project construction documents and applicable codes and ordinances in order to establish detailing criteria • Recommend changes to the electrical design, aligned with project requirements and applicable codes, to support manufacturing and installation and cost saving strategies • Develop detailed installation drawings • Identify material, assemblies and sub-assemblies needed for electrical installation and creating the associated bills of material (BOM). • Optimize installation (labor, material and safety) by selecting and/or verifying the most cost-effective and efficient products that provide the best value for the project • Ensure design for installation and manufacturing drawings and BOMs align with project scope requirements, applicable specifications, client criteria and codes • Guide field personnel on intended methods of installation and collect feedback • Improve existing product line offerings and suggest ideas for new products that create value • Implement new products and ensure conformity with design criteria including installation oversight in the field • Create RFI’s for missing or incomplete design or as a strategy for cost savings What's in it for You?
