Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both high voltage and low voltage electrical systems, with a strong background in industrial settings. This role involves working on construction sites, where you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems according to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and project specifications. You will utilize your expertise in reading schematics and using power tools to ensure safe and efficient operations. Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in compliance with NEC standards. • Work on high voltage and low voltage systems as required. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. • Use various power tools and equipment safely and effectively. • Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify issues or areas for improvement. • Collaborate with construction teams to build electrical infrastructure on-site. • Troubleshoot electrical problems using voltmeters and other diagnostic tools. • Ensure all work is performed following safety protocols and regulations. Requirements • Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in an industrial or construction setting. • Strong knowledge of high voltage and low voltage electrical systems. • Familiarity with NEC codes and regulations. • Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings. • Experience using power tools safely and effectively. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Valid electrician's license or certification as required by local regulations.
