The Department of State Hospitals-Napa has a vacancy for an Electrician I. The Electrician I installs transmission lines for electrical equipment; installs and repairs electric lights, motors, heaters, generators, transformers, switchboards, and other electrical apparatuses. Incumbents trouble shoot electrical systems, operate, and set up electrical power generating plants, maintain an electrical shop, operate electrical equipment, advise in the selection and storage of electrical equipment. The Electrician I consults and works with other trades people, makes rough sketches and estimates the cost of minor electrical installations.
