Licensed Journeyman Electrician - Utility Scale Solar

Job Title: Licensed Journeyman Electrician – Utility-Scale Solar Location: Kennett, Missouri Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking skilled Journeyman Electricians that are licensed in the state of Missouri to join our team for utility-scale solar projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance for large-scale solar farms. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes, safety regulations, and the ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment. Key Responsibilities: • Install, maintain, and repair electrical components in utility-scale solar projects. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings. • Perform electrical wiring, terminations, and grounding according to NEC standards. • Test and troubleshoot electrical systems to ensure functionality and safety compliance. • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other electricians to meet project timelines. • Ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety standards. • Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems. • Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and machinery required for electrical work. • Document work performed and report any issues or deficiencies. Qualifications: • Valid Journeyman Electrician License. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical work, preferably in solar or renewable energy projects. • Proficiency in reading and understanding electrical blueprints and technical documents. • Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA regulations, and other relevant electrical codes. • Ability to work at heights, in outdoor environments, and in varying weather conditions. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in utility-scale solar installations. • Certifications in OSHA 10/30, NFPA 70E, and first aid/CPR. • Experience with high-voltage systems and grid interconnection. Pay is $65.24 per hour and 100.00 a day in perdiem.
