Job Description: We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential and/or commercial construction, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for a variety of carpentry tasks, from framing to finishing, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. Examples of Key Responsibilities: • Perform carpentry duties including framing, drywall installation, trim work, and cabinetry. • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans. • Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials according to specifications. • Install windows, doors, cabinets, and other structures as needed. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure timely project completion. • Assist with project planning and material management. • Communicate effectively with clients and supervisor regarding project progress. • Spanish Language skills is a plus. Qualifications: • Minimum of 3 years of carpentry experience. • Proven experience in both rough and finish carpentry. • Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools. • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. • Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team. • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions. Preferred Skills: • Experience with remodeling and custom carpentry projects. • Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations. • Knowledge of sustainable building practices. • Spanish language proficiency. • DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTION • Perform construction, installation, renovation, maintenance, inspection, and repair duties throughout the Medical Center.
