Overview We are seeking a skilled (5-10 year exp) Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks and a passion for delivering high-quality craftsmanship. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to read and interpret schematics. Duties • Construct, install, and repair structures such as walls, roofs, and cabinets. • Perform drywall installation and finishing tasks. • Apply plaster and caulking as needed for finishing touches. • Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure project completion. • Follow safety protocols while working on construction sites. • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Experience - Doors, Windows, Framing, Finish work • Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry. • Familiarity with carpentry techniques and methods including drywall installation, cabinet installation, plastering, and caulking. • Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of safety regulations. • Strong problem-solving skills with a maintenance person mentality to address various challenges that arise during projects.
