CARPENTER CCI is currently seeking a full-time skilled Carpenter. In this position, the candidate will be responsible for all carpentry aspects, from new construction to renovation, of commercial construction projects from start to finish. Main Duties/Responsibilities: Framing including steel and wood studs, insulation, as well as installing drywall, doors, and windows. Carpenters are also responsible for trim and detail work. As well as the installation of Hardie board, LP siding and panels. Qualifications: Must have 5 or more years of carpentry experience in commercial construction, must be proficient in using popular construction tools, and have no fear of heights or confined spaces. Candidate must have reliable transportation with a valid driver's license, be legal to work in the United States, and be able to travel throughout the United States. Carpentry Estimator

CARPENTRY ESTIMATOR We focus on making every project we undertake an example of inspired design realized by purposeful construction that reflects our client’s vision. CCI is a value-driven, family-oriented company looking for an “Carpentry Estimator” who has a passion for exceeding expectations. Essential Functions As a Carpentry Estimator, you will complete the due diligence necessary to estimate the cost of work to be performed and oversee the bid submission process. This includes but is not limited to: • Review and understand blueprints, plans, and specifications of structural and architectural components in order to understand the project as a whole and then prepare detailed estimates. • Research and acquire subcontractors for drywall, installation, and acoustic ceilings through competitive bids, and negotiate terms. • Develop the scope of work and proposal. • Provide all subcontractors with drawings and specifications before the bid process. • Develop an invitation to bid and send it to vendors. • Perform take-offs on materials for self-performed steel stud framing, structural and non-structural sheathing, insulation, cabinets, wood framing, steel siding, vinyl siding, LP siding, Hardi-Board siding, and all components of finishes (base, casing, wood interior doors, various types of residential and commercial doors/frames, hardware, bathroom accessories) that are required. • Manage implementation, updates, and execution of assemblies within estimating software. Qualifications Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of commercial framing estimating experience. As well as 3 years of field experience in construction. Experience with conceptual and design-build estimates. Estimating software experience is preferred, as well as construction software such as Bluebeam.
