Carpenter at Haskell Company in American Falls, Idaho, United States Job Description Scope of Position Constructs, erects, installs, and repairs structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard, using carpenter's hand tools and power tools, and conforming to local building codes. Reads and interprets Construction documents to find information related to the project. Other duties may include installing concrete reinforcement, connection embeds, use of multiple form systems, trim work, door and hardware installation. Job Responsibilities Follow established safety rules Providing leadership to carpenter helpers, apprentices and laborers. Erect Scaffolding Maintains or modifies woodwork and other related structures. Occasionally work around hazardous material and equipment Construct forms. Install anchor bolts, reinforcing steel, & embeds. Frame floors, walls, & roof structures. Demolition of concrete and wood structures Education/Experience High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years' experience. Specific Knowledge, Skills, License, Certifications Etc.
