This position will be well compensated based upon experience. Truck, trailer and tools will be provided. The position will require full knowledge of rebuild, attention to detail, coordinating with homeowners, sub-contractors and other employees/owners. A clean driving record is required. References and a catalog of before/after photos would be extremely helpful. Efficient time management is imperative as this position requires handling multiple jobs at one time. Structural Design Technician Job This job opportunity is available at various locations in the United States. Ideally, selected candidates will be near a major office, but we intend to hire the best candidates who can thrive in a collaborative environment. We are seeking a driven and curious Structural Design Technician to provide leadership and support our Built Environment team. As a key member of our Advanced Manufacturing team, you'll get to grow your skills and join our dynamic team providing award-winning planning, engineering, architectural design, construction management, and design-build project delivery members designing state-of-the-art structures. You'll work closely with clients and construction trade partners as you develop design concepts, create models from scratch, and coordinate designs to consider existing conditions and other disciplines. You'll convey structural requirements to the construction team through traditional 2D paper deliverables and/or BIM 3D Revit models. The ideal candidate will have high school diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years drafting/design experience in the structural field. Additionally, they should have experience working on traditional steel and concrete structures, leading a team of designers, and working with Navisworks and Bluebeam.
