Job Summary The Skilled Carpenter plays a hands-on role in completing construction projects with precision and efficiency. Skilled carpenters should have a well-rounded knowledge of most or all aspects of construction. They should be able to get an assignment from the super and perform any aspect of the project construction with little to no oversite. Willing to travel up to 70% of the time as we are licensed in most western states. Key Responsibilities • Layout, install and train other in concrete, framing, and structural builds. • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications. • Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and effectively. • Collaborate with the Superintendent and project team to ensure timelines and quality • standards are met. • Maintain a safe and clean job site, adhering to all company and OSHA safety standards. • Assist in training apprentices and less experienced team members. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to carpentry work on-site. Qualifications • 4-8 years of proven carpentry experience in commercial or industrial construction. • Strong knowledge of construction methods, tools, and materials. • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints. • Proficient in layout and building. • Solid understanding of safety procedures and OSHA requirements. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • High school diploma or equivalent; trade certification preferred. • Physical Requirements • Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly. • Comfortable working at heights, in varying weather conditions, and on active • construction sites. • Attention to detail.
