The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, a keep eye for detail, and the ability to complete projects efficiently and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities: • Perform carpentry tasks including framing, drywall, flooring, cabinetry, trim work, and finish carpentry. • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements. • Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials to the correct specifications. • Install, maintain, and repair structures, fixtures, and furniture made from wood and other materials. • Safely operate carpentry tools and machinery, ensuring proper maintenance and care. • Collaborate with team members, project managers, and clients to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects. • Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety standards, and quality regulations. • Keep work areas clean and organized, ensuring tools and equipment are stored properly. • Provide guidance and training to junior carpenters or apprentices when necessary. Required Qualifications: • 3+ years of carpentry experience in residential or commercial construction. • Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools. • Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings. • Proficient in the safe use of carpentry tools (e.g., saws, drills, hammers, etc.). • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship. • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required for travel to job sites). • Ability to lift materials and perform physical tasks as required. Preferred Qualifications: • Certification or formal training in carpentry or a related field. • Must be able to pass background check to receive badging for the SLC Airport • Experience with advanced carpentry techniques (e.g., custom furniture, cabinetry). • Familiarity with various wood types, finishing techniques, and construction methods. • Knowledge of safety protocols and building codes. Carpenter Journeyman

REPORTS TO: Foreman Position Summary A skilled carpenter involved in high level millwork that can be woodwork, casework, and/or ornamental metalwork. Duties & Responsibilities • Installation of AWW, PL + Metal casework, fume hoods, Doors frames and Hardware, misc. specialties. • Preplanning: tools needed, materials, installation techniques that is the fastest and safest way possible. Safety Responsibilities: • Responsible to follow and participate in the ISEC Safety Program and adhere to the ISEC Safety Promise. • Perform their jobs in the safest manner prescribed – Never put themselves in harm’s way. • Conduct themselves in a way that enhances their personal safety and that of their coworkers contributing to a positive work environment. • Report workplace hazards and make suggestions for their control. Use Stop Work Authority and respect Stop Work Authority on job. • Cooperate and contribute toward the overall success of the safety program. • Report all injuries and incidents as soon as possible. Preferred Qualifications Education/Experience • Experience in casework, plastic laminate, and architectural millwork Knowledge/Skills • Ability to read blueprints • Supply personal tools • Ability to work with minimal supervision Minimum Qualifications Education/Experience • High School Education or Equivalent • 3-5 years experience as a finished carpenter • Union member where applicable Requirements: Workers should be able to: Physically, workers must be able to: Climb and maintain balance on ladders and scaffolds; Stoop, kneel, and crouch; Use hands and arms to reach for, handle, and manipulate objects; See well (either naturally or with correction); and lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
