Lead Form Carpenter/ Concrete

GLO Resources is currently hiring an experienced Lead Form Carpenter/ Concrete to work in Baton Rouge, LA. The pay rate is between $22 and $25 per hour, depending on experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday, typically working 5/10’s starting around 6:30 a.m. The scheduled start time fluctuates as seasons change, with occasional overtime depending on project deadlines. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable company. Position Summary: We are currently seeking an experienced Lead Form Carpenter to join our team in the Baton Rouge area. This role will support wastewater construction projects with a strong focus on form building, piping, and grading. The ideal candidate will have hands-on carpentry experience, leadership skills, and the ability to operate small machinery. Key Responsibilities: • Build concrete job forms to project specifications • Perform layout, grading, and installation of piping • Lead and coordinate tasks among a crew of laborers and carpenters • Ensure worksite safety and productivity • Read blueprints and follow detailed construction plans • Perform gain formwork and general concrete carpentry • Communicate effectively with supervisors and project managers • May be assigned other duties, as necessary. Qualifications: • 2+ years of concrete form carpentry experience • Prior experience leading or supervising crew members • Proficiency in reading construction plans and shooting grade using laser levels and other instruments (Preferred) • Ability to operate small construction machinery (e.g., skid steers, mini excavators, etc.) (Preferred) • Strong work ethic and reliability • Must be able to work outdoors in various conditions • Wastewater industry or related utility construction experience (Preferred) • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Physical Requirements: This position involves regular physical activity, including: • Standing for prolonged periods. • Frequent bending, kneeling, and crouching. • Pushing and pulling heavy objects. • Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
