We are a very busy closet / cabinet, home office & garage cabinetry installation company. -Building cabinets from manufactured components in preparation for installation in residential & commercial settings. -Picking up product at our warehouse, transporting it back to our installations staging shop for build as needed & then to customer site for installation. Therefore a clean driving record and valid Maine drivers license is a must. -Experience with closets / cabinet installation is a plus but not required. Presumpscot Property Management is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. PPM is a small mom-and pop property management company, primarily focused on apartment rentals in Portland, ME. This full-time role is ideal for someone with experience in (hands-on) property management or multi-trade remodeling work. The successful candidate will primarily assist with supporting remodeling projects, along with property maintenance/ repairs. This is a flexible position with the opportunity for a variety of tasks. The ideal candidate is hard-working and dedicated to producing quality work. Key Responsibilities: • Remodeling Support: • Demolition • Drywall hanging, patching, and finishing. • Light rough and finish carpentry • Painting, prep and finish • Assist in tile and flooring installations • Materials procurement, handling, and delivery. • Job site preparation, organization, and cleaning. • Property Maintenance: • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs as requested by supervisor • Support apartment turnovers, including minor repairs, touch-ups, and cleaning • Perform seasonal tasks such as spring and fall cleanup. • General handyman duties. • Collaborate closely with the on-site manager to ensure smooth operations. All day, high quality communication is necessary. • Maintain tools and equipment in good working order. Additional Details: • The applicant will report directly to the on-site manager.
