Lead Carpenter

We are a high-end residential Master Builder and Millwork company providing fine quality home building, renovations, custom cabinetry and architectural woodworking for discerning clientele. Our continued growth requires we add an experienced Carpenter to our Field Operations team. This is a great opportunity for a skilled carpenter with five-plus years of experience in high-end residential work to perform general construction duties at job sites in both city and suburban locations. Our projects range from renovations to new home construction and you will work with other Woodmeister employees and our subcontractors to deliver high-quality projects that exceed our client's expectations. You will work with our Project Leaders and Site Supervisors to maintain safe and productive job-sites and help meet schedule deadlines and budgets. Some of the essential duties and responsibilities include: • Work from blueprints, drawings and instructions to construct, install and repair structures and fixtures. • Inspect completed work for conformance with requirements and compliance with building and safety codes and regulations. • Operate, maintain and calibrate hand and power carpentry tools. • Read and comprehend plans and blueprints. • Perform heavy physical labor. • Thorough knowledge of methods, materials, tools and equipment used in both rough and finished carpentry. • Travel is required • Must have a valid driver's license in good standing This is a growth position with the opportunity to become a Lead Carpenter or Site Supervisor and independently run one of our projects.
