Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and construction practices. This role involves working on diverse projects, including remodeling, restoration, and new construction. The Carpenter/Laborer will be responsible for executing tasks with precision and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards. Duties • Perform trim and frame carpentry, including installation of cabinets, doors, and fixtures. • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to execute construction plans accurately. • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various carpentry tasks. • Engage in concrete forming, masonry work, and rebar installation as needed. • Conduct water damage restoration and mold remediation activities. • Assist in roofing, siding, plastering, and stucco applications. • Carry out flooring installation, tile laying, and heavy lifting as required by the project. • Participate in the fabrication of custom wood pieces and cabinetry. • Collaborate with team members on construction site tasks while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Qualifications • Proven experience in carpentry or related fields such as construction or manufacturing. • Familiarity with construction estimating techniques is a plus. • Strong knowledge of woodworking principles and practices. • Ability to operate various tools safely, including CNC machines for fabrication tasks. • Experience with maintenance person services such as plumbing, electrical work, or construction painting is desirable. • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail in all aspects of work performed. • Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks consistently throughout the day. • Previous experience in the restoration industry is an advantage but not mandatory.
