Job description Experienced Carpenter / Laborer **MUST HAVE VERIFIBLE EXPERIENCE (A PREVIOUS JOB< NOT JUST HELPING FAMILY AT HOME, UNLESS FAMILY ACTUAL BUSINESS)*** We are looking for a qualified Carpenter to cut, fabricate and install wooden and other structures according to specifications. Your job will entail working in diverse settings to produce steady and functional infrastructure and products. Must have hand dexterity and an eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge carpentry materials. Working with little supervision while following all health and safety standards is essential. The goal is to contribute to the construction and maintenance of strong and long-lasting buildings and products. We build everything from Retaining Walls in nearby lakes, piers, boat houses, as well as other construction projects. Must be adaptable and ready for any kind of work in all kinds of weather. Must be prepared to come to work every day scheduled. Responsibilities Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements **experience preferred** TAKE AND READ measurements, cut, shape and smooth lumber and other material according to measurements (MANDATORY) Build window frames, doors, staircases and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items Must have own transportation to the office every morning by 6:30-6:45am Mon-Fri and some (most if want more overtime) SATURDAYS (NO SUNDAYS) Skills Proven experience as carpenter, Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.) Ability to read technical documents and drawings ** Experience Preferred*** Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times Good knowledge of English Good understanding of basic math Good physical condition and endurance High school diploma; GED • ***Successful completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program is preferred*** Job Type: Full-time MUST COME IN to fill out and application and have immediate interview between 7-4 Mon-Fri Hartbeat Construction 15160 Hwy 155 S, Tyler, TX 75703 Call before coming to make sure in office at that time.
