Key Responsibilities: • Coordinate strategic growth plans with office leaders and practice leaders • Develop and maintain relationships with teaming partners, contractors, and clients • Establish and grow market presence in the area through marketing and business development • Manage budgets and allocate resources accordingly • Lead and contribute to the production of proposals • Serve as a technical expertise resource to project managers and technical staff • Establish staffing needs for the practice on a regional level • Interview and make recommendations for hiring staff • Lead and manage team members by providing leadership and performance management, including setting expectations, goals, feedback, coaching, etc. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field from an accredited program • Professional Engineer License or equivalent • 15+ years' experience in the discipline including supervisory, project management, and business development • Strong relationships with TxDOT and municipal agencies • Experience leading others and working with local clients at various government levels Preferred Qualifications: • Master's degree in a specialty field Work Environment: The work is performed within a general office environment, generally sedentary but may require standing and walking.
