Diversified Construction & Design is seeking a MASTER CARPENTER to join our Architectural team. We offer competitive pay, employer-sponsored health insurance, voluntary benefits, 401(k) with company match, Paid Time Off Responsibilities: • Install wooden structures such as roofing frames, rafters, partitions, joists, and stud work. • Design, fabricate, and install cabinets, shelving, fitted furniture, drywall, and insulation. • Add fixtures and fittings such as door handles, locks, hinges, and closures. • Select lumber and calculate material and fastener needs. • Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and other construction professionals. • Read blueprints, drawings, and technical documents to ensure all work meets specifications and code requirements. • Mentor and supervise less experienced carpenters, inspecting work to ensure quality craftsmanship. Skills: • Strong leadership and communication abilities. • Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques, materials, and methods. • Proven experience directing and instructing coworkers. Additional Qualities Necessary: • Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times. • Good knowledge of English. • Good understanding of basic math. • Good physical condition and endurance. • Consistently demonstrate a positive company image to Diversified Construction & Design’s vendors and customers.
