Apprentice Carpenter

Job Title:Apprentice Finish CarpenterDuties and Responsibilities:Perform carpentry-related duties efficiently as delegated by the Foreman or Carpenter.Carry out tasks in a professional and workmanlike manner within the prescribed time frame set by the Foreman and/or Field Supervisor.Prepare work areas by dropping out and securing with tape and plastic.Set up tools and equipment as instructed by the Foreman.Keep the on-site shop area organized and neat, following Foreman's directions.Organize and maintain tools for easy access and cleanliness.Clean up work areas, including shaking out drops and folding them neatly in the shop.Return tools to the truck's proper place and dispose of debris in the dumpster.Keep the truck clean and well-organized.Ensure the truck is stocked with necessary materials and equipment.Prioritize safety for themselves, fellow employees, customers, vendors, and others they interact with.Demonstrate a positive and friendly attitude.Know customers by their proper names.Possess knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in carpentry work.Show genuine interest and care in each assigned task.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods standing and working outside.Physically able to perform assigned tasks.Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time.Job Type:Full Time, Non-ExemptPay Scale:$19-$22 per hourBenefits:Health Insurance with partial employer contributionVisionDentalPaid Life Insurance AflacGym Allowance24hrs of Sick PayBackground Check:Satisfactory completion of a background check (including a criminal records check) is required for employment.
