JOB DESCRIPTION The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable in performing the following repairs: -Fascia repair/replacement: This includes removing/placing gutter systems, carefully removing fascias from rafters, measuring & cutting Fascia according to job site specs(this includes mitered corners), & installation of fascia. -Exterior Trim: Replacement/Repair of window trim, door trim & soffits -Siding repair/replacement: Knowledgeable with various type of siding materials & ability to evaluate, remove, and install siding. -Deck Repairs: Including demolition, inspect joist/post, remove rotten joist/post, applying sealer, reinforce/secure joist, prepare replacement deck board & attach new decking. -Stairwell Repairs: Includes demolition, post removal/replacement, stair stringers, treads & hand rails. -Additional duties include replacement of Garage door headers, installation/adjustment of Doors, rafter tails, belly band, handrails & Fencing. Qualifications -Ability to move,work, and work of ladders. -Ability to understand directions and read blueprints. -Ability to solve mathematical problems quickly and accurately. -Ability to properly care for and use tools of the trade. -Thorough understanding of carpentry principles and methods. -Works well as part of a team. -Prolonged periods standing, climbing, bending, and kneeling. -Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time. -Must be able to safely work with sharp tools or power equipment. -Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and terrains. -Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
