We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Carpenter to join our team at a busy metal recycling yard. This role requires a skilled carpenter who is also willing and able to perform general labor duties, including shoveling cement and assisting with maintenance or cleanup tasks as needed. Key Responsibilities: • Perform carpentry work for yard structures, forms, repairs, and basic builds using wood or other materials. • Construct and repair concrete forms, barricades, ramps, and other support structures. • Assist in pouring, finishing, and shoveling cement during small concrete projects or yard repairs. • Support general labor tasks such as material handling, site cleanup, and equipment relocation. • Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively. • Perform heavy lifting, bending, and physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions. • Follow all safety guidelines and use proper PPE at all times. • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members. Requirements: • Proven carpentry experience in an industrial, construction, or similar setting. • Willingness to perform physically demanding labor, including shoveling cement and manual material handling. • Ability to read and follow basic drawings or construction instructions. • Comfortable working outdoors in rugged environments. • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team. • Forklift or skid steer experience is a plus (but not required). • Must pass a drug test and background check (if required by employer). This will include performing project related alterations and repairs as well as new installations of mechanical and building systems. As a Project Service Carpenter, you will also be required to assist in the performance of work in other trades and disciplines at a non-journey level to support the Project Services staff as well as perform other duties as assigned. Key Responsibilities • Perform skilled carpentry work to support new construction, repairs and renovations. This will include but is not limited to layout and installation of walls, floors, ceilings, doors, windows, roofs, counters, cabinets, structural steel, reinforcing steel, concrete, asphalt, T-bar, VCT, carpet, window coverings, tile etc. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and create detailed sketches is necessary. Layout and install counters - solid surface, tile, laminate etc. • Lead a crew of skilled multi-discipline journeymen involved in completing project work that includes job lay out and coordinating assigned tasks, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to project standards. Ensure tools, equipment and materials on hand are appropriate and available to perform the job efficiently and economically. Perform take offs for material and labor and assist with estimates. Journeyman Carpenter

Summary: Carpenters on our team play a key role in delivering exceptional workmanship on residential remodels. We are looking for someone dependable, detail-oriented, and experienced in both structural and finish carpentry. Journeyman Carpenters perform carpentry work to build custom structures based on technical drawings, as well as repair damaged buildings and elements within structures, primarily using wood and metal. Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Completes all carpentry work accurately and in an efficient manner.* 2. Applies skilled knowledge of carpentry to include all aspects of residential and commercial carpentry, both rough and finish.* 3. Operates power tools in a safe manner to include table saws, compound miter saws, skill saws, table and hand planers and drills.* 4. Lifts and carries tools to perform work.* 5.
