This role also involves constructing, erecting, repairing, and dismantling built-in-place or prefabricated forms for concrete structures. Carpenters will be tasked with assembling columns or wall formwork, which may include gang forms, stick builds, and slip forms. Safety is paramount, and carpenters will erect temporary handrails and other safety-related items as part of their duties. The job requires proficiency in various carpentry techniques, including sawing, stripping, nailing, burning, measuring, tightening and loosening bolts, and drilling. In addition to the hands-on carpentry work, the Carpenter Foreman will have supervisory responsibilities, coordinating and scheduling a crew of eight or more carpenters.
