Journeyman Carpenter

Job description Overview We are seeking a skilled frame to finish Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and a passion for working in the restoration industry. This role involves constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials. The Carpenter will work on diverse projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities • Construct, install, and repair structures such as frameworks, walls, and trim using wood and other materials. • Execute caulking tasks to ensure proper sealing of joints and openings. • Carry out wooden stud framing for interior walls and partitions. • Handle concrete forming for foundations, slabs, and other structural components. • Manage flooring installation including hardwood, laminate, tile, or carpet as required by the project specifications. • Execute frame carpentry tasks to create durable frameworks for buildings and structures. • Install cabinets and other built-in furniture with precision and attention to detail. Qualifications • Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction or restoration industry. • Proficient in various carpentry techniques including but not limited to masonry, caulking, construction painting, metal stud framing, concrete forming, flooring installation, frame carpentry, and cabinet installation. • Strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations related to carpentry work. • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials as needed. • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
