Summary: Responsible for designing, building, installing, and repairing structures, fixtures and other items using different types of materials. Primary Responsibilities and Requirements: • Prepare the layout of the project. • General Trades knowledge for commercial applications • Finish Carpentry • Install trim • Install Doors, Frames & Hardware • Install laminate • Rough carpentry: blocking, nailer, barricading & temp walls • Ability to use hand & power tools for required jobs • Select materials • Work with blueprints & specs • Work with materials such as wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall. • Utilize saws, drills, and sanders to repair and erect structures. • Join materials with nails, screws, staples, or adhesives. • Use levels, rules, plumb bobs, framing squares, and surveying equipment to ensure everything is level and secure. • Install cabinets and countertop • Install owner furnished items • Material handling of plywood cabinets and lumber. Able to lift 50 pounds on and off a truck.
