Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various carpentry techniques and construction practices. This role requires hands-on experience in residential projects, demonstrating proficiency with hand and power tools, as well as the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The Carpenter/Laborer will contribute to a variety of tasks, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Duties • Perform frame carpentry, trim carpentry, and cabinet installation tasks. • Execute concrete forming, plastering, and stucco work as needed. • Engage in roofing, siding, and flooring installation projects. • Conduct water damage restoration and mold remediation efforts. • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for accurate project execution. • Utilize hand tools and power tools for fabrication and assembly tasks. • Install fixtures, doors, and perform caulking duties. • Assist with heavy lifting and moving materials on construction sites. • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Requirements • Proven experience in construction or the restoration industry is preferred. • Strong skills in woodworking, metal/wood framing, and remodeling are advantageous. • Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the workday. • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed. • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients. • A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
