Concrete Carpenter Druid Hills, GA Overview: We are seeking an experienced Concrete Carpenter is responsible for planning, constructing, erecting, installing, and repairing concrete structures such as foundations, slabs, walls, stairs, and other building components required to complete the concrete scope of work on commercial projects. Responsibilities: • Tie and place rebar, wire mesh, and post-tensioning cables • Assemble and strip wood/metal forms, ties, and shoring • Pour, vibrate, and finish concrete foundations, walls, stairs, and slabs • Read and interpret blueprints and use measuring tools accurately • Set cross slopes and tolerances for sidewalks, ADA ramps, curbs, and driveways • Perform concrete patching, repairs, and joint treatments • Work closely with Superintendents, Foremen, and crews • Follow all safety rules and maintain a safe work area Requirements: • 5+ years’ experience in concrete carpentry, formwork, rod-busting, and concrete placement/finishing • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform sustained field work (climb, kneel, bend, squat, walk) • Ability to operate skid steer and telehandler • Experience with total station/layout is a plus • Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus • Valid driver’s license preferred Job Type: Full-time Pay: $24.62 - $30.86 per hour Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance Application Question(s): • Do you have 5+ years of concrete carpentry/formwork and concrete placing/finishing experience? • Are you able to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding field work daily? • Are you willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions and travel to different job sites as required?
