Job Details Quitman Head Start - Georgetown, GA $15.10 - $19.96 HourlyDescription Job Summary: Responsible for the establishment, maintenance, and management of classroom activities and providing those services necessary to meet the requirements of the Head Start Performance Standards DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Develop and implement daily lesson plans and daily schedules. • Develop, organize and maintain learning centers within the classroom. • Organize classroom according to developmental levels and individual needs of the infant or toddler ensuring: the development of trust and emotional security; opportunities to explore a variety of sensory and motor experiences; • Promote the development of secure relationships with infant/toddlers assigned by assuring primary and continuity of care • Implement the EHS curriculum and Head Start Performance Standards for Early Head Start classrooms • Feed infants according to their home schedule, hold them every time they are fed, and share information about their eating with their parents daily.
