In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality final touch carpentry work on both new construction and remodel projects in residential and commercial settings. You will work with a variety of materials and ensure that all finishes are smooth, precise, and meet design specifications. Your work will be integral to the completion of each project, ensuring that the final product meets both aesthetic and functional standards.Key Responsibilities: Install and finish interior trim, including baseboards, crown molding, window and door casings, wainscoting, and other fine carpentry elements. Install cabinetry and related fixtures, including kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, shelving, and custom-built units. Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials with precision to create high-quality finishes. Apply finishing touches to newly built and remodeled spaces, ensuring attention to detail in the application of stains, paints, and sealants. Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and building codes. Collaborate with other contractors, designers, and project managers to ensure smooth project progress. Troubleshoot and resolve carpentry-related issues as they arise on the job site. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency. Perform quality control inspections to ensure that all work meets the required standards and specifications. Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as a Finish Carpenter or in a similar role in residential or commercial construction. Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools. Ability to measure and cut with accuracy and attention to detail. Experience with custom cabinetry, trim, and molding installation. Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and construction site protocols. Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, including saws, drills, nail guns, and sanders. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients. Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions (for outdoor projects). High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant trade certifications preferred.
