Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete forming and finishing, with experience in various construction settings. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring that concrete surfaces are smooth, level, and aesthetically pleasing while adhering to project specifications and safety standards. Duties • Prepare and set up concrete forms according to project specifications. • Mix, pour, and finish concrete for various structures including sidewalks, driveways, and foundations. • Utilize tools such as trowels, floats, and screeds to achieve desired surface finishes. • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installation of concrete elements. • Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure timely project completion. • Operate heavy equipment as needed for moving materials or assisting in the pouring process. • Perform trim carpentry tasks related to formwork and finishing details. • Apply surface treatments as required by project specifications. Experience • Proven experience in concrete forming and finishing within a construction site environment. • Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematic interpretation is essential. • Experience with commercial driving may be beneficial for transporting materials on-site. • Knowledge of heavy equipment operation is a plus. • Previous experience in trim carpentry is highly desirable.
