We are seeking an experienced Welder to become an integral part of our team! The Welder will use specialized equipment to weld and assemble new metal forms. • **Candidate must be able to pass a welding test.*** Responsibilities: • Follow blueprints to meet product specifications • Calculate material measurements to verify specifications • Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance • Ability to perform this work proficiently at a fast pace • Reading and understanding blueprints/job specifications • Measuring and cutting material to specifications • Welding materials using the correct materials to join the metals together • Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances • Selecting, measuring, cutting and joining appropriate metals to specifications • Preparing metals and work surfaces to ensure safe and effective assemblage • Regularly cleaning and inspecting welding equipment and tools • Observes all safety rules and regulations and keeps work area clean and orderly. ​Qualifications: • Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or other related fields • Familiarity with welding tools and procedures • Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics • Ability to handle physical workload • Reliable/Dependable • Able to correctly read a tape measure • Minimum 1-year experience MIG Welding • Minimum 6-months welding Flux core/duel shield • Ability to perform manual labor • Ability to perform work proficiently at a fast pace • Ability to read blueprints • Ability to follow instructions provided by supervisor • 3G certification or higher preferred Company DescriptionA rapidly growing steel processing center.
