Job Title: Welder Fitter Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Welder Fitter to join our team in Canton, OH. This role involves performing welding primarily using MIG techniques on structural steel, fitting and constructing parts and frames, and reading blueprints and weld prints. The position is for the 3rd shift, operating Monday through Thursday from 6:30 PM to 5 AM. Responsibilities • Perform welding using MIG techniques on structural steel. • Fit and construct parts and frames. • Read and interpret blueprints and weld prints. • Utilize measurement tools, hand tools, and power tools. • Operate shop machines as needed. Essential Skills • 2+ years of experience in welding with MIG. • 2+ years of experience in fitting. • Proficiency in blueprint reading. • Strong knowledge of hand, measurement, and power tools. Work Environment Our facility is a state-of-the-art environment with a brand-new addition completed in 2023. It is clean, well-lit, climate-controlled, and very safe. We are an independent global manufacturer of spiral conveyor systems, with a team of 135 employees in Canton and plans for growth. We offer multiple shifts: 1st shift (M-TH 5 AM-3:30 PM), 2nd shift (M-TH 1:30 PM-11:30 PM), 3rd shift (M-TH 6:30 PM-5 AM), and a weekend shift (Friday-Sunday 5 AM-5:30 PM) where you work 36 hours and get paid for 40. Our customers include major brands like Coca-Cola, DHL, Johnson & Johnson, Heinz, P&G, Pepsi, Kellogg's, Dell, and more. Location This is a position based out of Canton, Ohio.
