Our Copley Service Center is looking to hire qualified candidates with at least one year of experience to complete work in the following areas: welding, fabrication and production. • Qualified candidate will perform manual welding and fabrication on both individual and multi-piece tube assemblies. • Must be knowledgeable and capable of multiple welding processes including manual GTAW, SMAW, GMAW, and FCAW. All welding processes may require out of position welding and the use of positioners, fixtures, and hand tools. • Successful candidate may also be required to setup and operate several different bending machines prior to further fabrication. • Must have experience and understanding of hand tools including grinders, inspection calipers, tape measures, and other inspection equipment. • Candidate must be familiar and capable of work from detailed drawings, as well as both written and verbal instructions. • All applicants must pass a Pre-Employment Weld Screen and mechanical aptitude comprehension test to be considered for this position. • Technical Certification preferred. • Ability to pass all B&W internal welding tests. • At least 1 year of fabrication experience. Lesser experience coupled with a technical certification may be considered. • High school diploma/GED. • Must be able to work overtime and maintain on-call status as needed. • Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check prior to beginning employment with B&W.

We are looking for a full-time Welder fabricator team member to join our fire fab division at our facility in Akron, Ohio.
