The Welder at our Asbury Road facility who will be responsible for putting together component parts or pieces adhering to a specified set of blueprints or schematics. This position ensures customer satisfaction by providing safe, reliable operation of Eriez equipment that is intended to protect our customers and their customers. This person will report to the 2nd Shift Supervisor. Responsibilities: • Plans details of work order procedures; gathers required tools and materials based on instructions and specifications provided for the job • Must be able to weld components that are vertical, flat, or overhead • Set machine for welding (i.e. wire feed, amperage, etc.) • Prepares, assembles, fit and tack weld parts and surfaces to be welded • Perform sanitary welding tasks efficiently • Monitors the welding, burning, and fitting process to ensure parts are not overheated or damaged by warping, distortion, expansion, or shrinkage • Operate overhead cranes, clamping devices, forklifts • Operate plasma cutter and carbon arc.
