UNION WELDERS │ 1st & 2nd Shift Aluminum / Steel MIG Welders │ $23.08/hour

Tri-Arc is seeking aluminum and steel welders for 1st shift (6:00 am to 2:30 pm) and 2nd shift (2:30 pm to 11:00 pm - additional $0.60 per hour) for our plant located in Blawnox, PA. Tri-Arc offers a competitive starting rate of $23.08 (1st shift) and $23.68 (2nd Shift), plus an additional $1.00/hour when welding aluminum material (additional testing is required). Tri-Arc also offers a generous benefit package, and the right candidate(s) will have the opportunity to join the United Steelworkers Union after completing 520 probationary hours. Job Description • Set up and operate MIG welding machines to fabricate metal products or assemblies. • Assemble, align, and clamp workpieces into welding fixtures. • Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together. • Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding. • Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements. • Sets up equipment and welds parts, using MIG welding equipment. • Operates various punch presses, drill presses, shears, saws, and tube bending equipment. • Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.
