Tri-Fab, a Division of the Hannon Company, is seeking a welder at our Salem location. Candidate must be proficient in MIG welding of steel & stainless steel and must be able to read and interpret drawings to successfully weld custom sheet metal enclosures and consoles for the electrical industry. When not welding, duties can include: running saw, drill & tap, assist with fitting, some grinding, operating a shear, assist with paint prep, and spot welding. Minimum qualifications: • Experience MIG & TIG welding • Ability to pass a weld and blueprint test • Must be able to fit/layout per blueprint • Ability to read and interpret a tape measure • 2 years working with sheet metal • Must be able to work as a team Experience that would be a plus: • Forklift operating • MIG welding on stainless steel • Overhead crane experience Pay rate will be based on weld test. Schedule is 7:00am - 3:30pm with overtime as needed. Candidates should have 2 years MIG welding and 1 year TIG welding experience Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week Must be able to pass drug screen, physical and background check.
