The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of welding techniques and be proficient in various steel and aluminum welding processes. This role involves fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and components of vessels according to specifications. Responsibilities • Interpret and read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications. • Perform welding tasks using various techniques including Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), GMAW - MIG, Gas Tungsten Arc (TIG) and plasma cutting. • Operate hand tools and machinery such as press brake machines to shape metal components. • Conduct routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance. • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following safety guidelines.
