Job Title: MIG Welder/Fabricator (Structural Steel) Shift: 2:30pm - 1am (M-F) Pay: $17 - $23/hr based on weld test Location: Daytona Beach, FL (32124) Contract to hire Job Overview: As a Welder/Fabricator, you will play a key role in performing high-quality MIG welding on structural steel components while ensuring strict adherence to safety and craftsmanship standards. You’ll also work from blueprints to assemble and fabricate components in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Key Responsibilities: • Perform MIG welding on structural steel, ensuring high-quality and precise welds • Read, interpret, and follow blueprints and shop drawings to meet project specifications • Handle and lift materials up to 45 pounds regularly • Adhere to strict safety and quality standards on the shop floor • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, contributing to an efficient, team-driven environment Qualifications: • Proven experience with MIG welding, specifically on steel • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a commitment to producing high-quality work • Ability to work efficiently in a non-climate-controlled environment • Dependable, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting Work Environment • Non Climate Controlled Metal Fabrication Shop Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $23.00/hr.
