About the role: At Custom Industrial Products, the Quality Control Inspector confirms that the products made at CIP will meet industry, company, and consumer expectations. They will inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced and remove all products that fail to meet specifications. Responsibilities: · Read blueprints and specifications · Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards · Inspection and testing of welding, steel fabrication, coatings, and other materials. · Measure products with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers - Inspect shipments to verify accuracy and integrity of materials received · Accept or reject finished items · Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications · Report inspection and test data - Any downtime will be used for loading trucks and assisting with machine operations.
