As a Fabricator, you are a valued member of our team, performing: • Performs work as outlined on the work order with efficiency and accuracy • Marks cutting lines on material • Produces strong, clean, polished welds. Confirms all parts are properly fitted, aligned and screwed in. • Welds parts in flat, vertical and/or overhead positions • Follows blueprints and determines material measurements • Conducts tests to check weld quality and to ensure strength and tolerance of welds • Uses precision measuring tools to inspect grooves and angles • Reports machinery defects and malfunctions to the supervisor • Documents all work performed • Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to the supervisor • Operates all tools/equipment in a safe manner and reports any safety issues. Successful Candidates have the following: • Customer-focused mindset. • One + year of welding experience. High School diploma; college or technical school training. Welding certification a plus. • Must have necessary tools required to perform position responsibilities. Computer literacy. • Familiarity with common welding tools and procedures. • Ability to stand, crouch and life heavy equipment.
