• Must be able to fit, lay-out and fabricate structures/metal components • Temporarily tacks metal components/parts into place, then ‘fits’ them into proper position • Once fitting is complete permanent weld is completed on metal component • Performs any range of difficult and unusual hand fitting and welding operations • Plans operations, selects sets and prepares welding equipment supplies and materials • Position fits and clamps units for tack and permanent welds • Performs required tests, clean welds and moves materials and units as required Required Qualifications: • Mastery of MIG and Flux Core welding techniques • 3 + years of experience • Must be able to work directly from blueprints Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary Pay: From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • Dental insurance • Flexible schedule • Health insurance • Life insurance • Vision insurance Shift: • 8 hour shift • Evening shift • Rotating shift Experience: • MIG welding: 3 years (Required) • Welding: 3 years (Required) Shift availability: • Day Shift (Required) Work Location: In person
