Welder - 1st shift

Welder - $22 - $30/hour Our client (Omaha, NE) is a growing industrial products manufacturer is looking for a qualified welder to join their fabrication team. Qualified candidates will be self-directed and quality minded. We want to add team members who take pride in their work and have the ability to solve problems in a team environment. What's in it for you? • Up to $30/hour • 1st shift 5AM to 1:30PM • Full time hours, PERM role • Benefits and 5 percent profit sharing What will you be doing? • Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding. • Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together. • Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding. • Sets up equipment and welds parts, using MIG/TIG/Torch welding equipment. • Assembles parts by bolting and riveting. What do you bring? • Positive, can-do attitude • Have 2-5 years of experience with MIG and TIG welding in a fabrication environment • Must have aluminum and stainless steel TIG welding experience • Be a problem solver • Blueprint reading a must • Quality focused • Welding certification or technical degree a plus Are you Interested? Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Operate Pulse welding equipment • Operate Plasma and fueled torch assemblies • Assemble and weld various metal parts together conforming to CON-E-CO standards • Operate overhead bridge cranes as well as jib cranes • Operates saws, ironworker, and drill presses • Operate powered electric tools such as grinders, bevellers, hand drills, sanders and wire wheeled buffers • Operate pneumatic tools such as impact wrenches, die grinders, pneumatic grinders • Use miscellaneous hand tools • Able to work and understand blueprints and schematics • Assess overall quality during and after production of product • Maintain housekeeping and organization of work area • Follow all workplace safety standards • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned
