Job Description Responsibilities include welding wide ranges from light tacking to heavy flat, up weld and overhead. Verifies welds meet product specifications and quality standards. Works with blueprints to measure and position metal components for welding operation. Operates a wide range of power tools including, but not limited to saws, grinders, drills, welders, overhead cranes, hoists, and forklifts. Must be able to comply with company safety policies, keep work area clean and neat and perform regular maintenance on tools. See More Details >>GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION Responsible to inspect, validate, improve and document product weld quality per established company procedures and standards. Schedule and perform inspections of product at various stages of production to ensure conformance to weld and component specifications as defined per engineering or customer standards. Lead and administer the Company’s internal welding certification program and act as the Company’s primary resource for internal welding training. Work very closely with employees, leads and management teams to resolve quality problems and implement process improvements.
