Our company specializes on machine/equipment removal and install with welding/millwright specialization. Looking for a responsible and hard worker to join our jobsites for large equipment removal/install. Welding, millwright, other construction experience a plus. WILLING TO TRAVEL a plus. Looking to hire those with experience and willing to be onsite. Skills: -Accountability and willing to work! -Experience on construction sites, but willing to learn. - Proficient in various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and stick welding is a plus. - Competency of construction site, jobsite safety and practices a plus. Welder Multi-Craft - Field Position (8) Maryville, TN

Job Title: Multi-Craft Field Welder Department: Operations Reports To: Multi-Craft Millwright Foreman FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Summary: At Cherokee Millwright we are a multi-craft company that focuses on the needs of our customers by providing multi-trades personnel to meet the customers unique job requests. Therefore all field employees will be cross-trained in various trades such as millwrighting pipefitting welding sheet metal civil etc. The focus of this position will be to plan lay-out weld install and repair all types of metal components according to blueprints specifications codes and industry standards. Work in other crafts at levels appropriate to training and skills as requested by supervisor. However it will not be entirely set to this specific skillset. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Laying out pieces to be assembled according to blueprints schematics or work orders. • Using manual/semi-automatic/automatic welding equipment to join surface fabricate and repair parts of metal or other weldable materials. • Positioning pieces to be welded into jigs holding fixtures guides and steps using measuring instruments and hand tools. • Inspecting completed work for conformance to specifications. • Performing minor maintenance to equipment. • Observing all standard safety practices and maintaining and completing all required records. • Participating in safety committees or initiatives as required. • Additional skills in other crafts will be necessary to meet our customers need and will be expected in this role. Supervisory Responsibilities: No Supervision. Qualifications: Must be able to pass structural and 6G pipe weld test. To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
